  1. Hi. I tried earlier to tell you that I’d nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award, but for some reason I couldn’t publish a comment. Anyway, I’ve nominated you. :)

  2. Thank you. You’re very kind. And I apologize for the comment glitch. The reason this happened is that I’ve been in the process of moving journalpulp.com to wordpress.org, and that transition created issues for a couple of days. Everything is (theoretically) fixed.

For the nonce, I’ll be cross-posting at both website.

You’re very talented, and you deserve all your success.

  4. Hello. My friend, S.W.May told me that you stopped commenting on my posts because A) he “bullied” you into stopping, which I doubt as such a thing doesn’t seem to fit his personality, and because B) I don’t reply to your comments. I’m trying to correct this autonomous behavior, among many other similar characteristics.

I really appreciate all the generously kind things you’ve written, and the quote from Yeats was enjoyed.

    Cheers,
    Eli

    • Eli. Eli A Marlow. I like that. It reminds me of the Jewish-Irish Mohican scout who died in your arms at the roulette table in Monte Carlo, Ms. Marlow.

Your wildly extravagant friend and mine could not possibly strongarm or bully me into anything at all. Why? He’s a pussycat. An absolute pussycat.

Your non-replies — well, all reports to the contrary notwithstanding, they have a certain style. It’s my inarticulateness that’s in question.

But what a lovely comment you left me. And what a pleasant surprise to see you here. Thank you for dropping by.

      • I remember the Jewish-Irish Mohican scout who died in my arms in Monte Carlo. That was so long ago, when my life was lead by everyone but me. I had loved that Jewish-Irish Mohican scout, but I couldn’t tell anyone. Now whenever I get junk mail concerning this or that vacation to Monte Carlo, I weep gently as I rip the flyer into pieces and toss it in the bin.
